About

I am a Software Engineer (AI/ML) with over six years of experience in designing and developing AI systems. I specialize in Deep Learning across Large Language Models, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing. I focus on development end-to-end, from research to deployment, including backend and frontend web development as well as DevOps.

I believe machine learning is more than just building models, it's about creating complete solutions that deliver real value. By combining my machine learning expertise with strong software engineering skills, I bridge the gap between research and production, building end-to-end solutions that work in the real world.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Vision from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. During my studies, I also spent time abroad at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, focusing on optimization and statistics.

I began my career in 2018 at IDC as a Data Analyst, working on outlier detection and dataset integration. Later, I joined the data science team and focused on natural language processing, including fine-tuning custom models.

In 2022, I joined PiVa AI as a Machine Learning Engineer, where I worked on computer vision projects for wildlife analysis (species identification and camera trap image analysis) and traffic analysis (traffic sign recognition and vehicle tracking). While contributing to commercial projects at PiVa AI, I also worked in parallel as a Computer Vision Researcher at the University of West Bohemia on similar research-focused projects, under the same supervisor. At PiVa AI, I developed backend application and web admin for CheckFungi, an app that provides AI-based and expert-verified identification of fungi species from images and metadata.

In late 2023, I joined GoodAI to work on AI People project, a game that uses LLMs to control non-player characters and generate dialogue in real-time. I designed the backend application with decision engine, led the development of the distribution platform with payment integration, and built the cloud infrastructure for deployment.

Also in 2023, I co-founded and launched PortfolioMetrics, an online tool for backtesting and optimizing investment portfolios. I developed the app end-to-end, implemented finance metrics and algorithms, build the backend and frontend, and deployed it to the cloud.

Since 2025, I have been working at Myriad AI as a Machine Learning and Backend Engineer, developing AI tool for compliance automation.
