I am an AI engineer with 8+ years of experience building AI systems across LLMs, NLP, and computer vision. I develop systems end to end, from research and prototyping to scalable production deployment.

Currently I work at Myriad AI, a platform that helps compliance teams keep up with regulatory change. I build its AI features and agentic workflows and own services like information retrieval and OCR behind them, and I work with our legal team to integrate their expertise into the product.

Part time, I build PortfolioMetrics with two co-founders. It is a portfolio analysis application for investors to backtest and optimize their portfolios against historical data, with an AI assistant that answers their questions using backtested results. I am developing the app end to end: finance computations, backend, frontend, and cloud deployment.

I started in data science and computer vision research. Academic results mostly stay in papers, and I wanted what I build to be used by many people, so I moved toward software engineering and product work. That is still what I care about: systems that people use, that keep working as usage grows, and that solve a real problem for the business.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Vision from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. I also studied for a semester at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, focusing on optimization and statistics.
